I know it’s been a while since my last post, and even longer since my last novel update, but I think this blog I’m writing now will be my last post for a long time, possibly through the end of the year.
In my previous update, I wrote about being uninspired for more blog posts, and that still rings true now. Honestly, ever since I finished revisions on my novel, it’s the only thing I think about. I’m always coming up with new ideas for the story or characters that I want to add to my book and make it richer. Right now, there’s just no space in my mind for other writing projects except this one.
Back in August, I did revisit the novel and made numerous changes over the course of 3 weeks that month, which was more than I did in July. However, September was a much busier than month than I anticipated, so I’ve only just now gotten back into it. When I spoke to my editor, she suggested sending it out to 5 people for beta reading. I was hoping to have that ready for them at the beginning of this month, but that didn’t pan out. So, now I’m focusing all my energy on tightening up the book to have ready in early November.
So, as of right now, there will be no more blog posts unless it’s another update on my novel. We’ll see, though. Inspiration strikes at any time so it’s possible I may have some published posts between now and the end of the year, but don’t count on it.
Anyways, for those of you who follow along and read my posts every time I update, I apologize and appreciate your support.
